Five tournaments every day
The High Five series 2018 will offer five different events every day, offering a lot of action for all tournament players out there. The range of buy-ins is very wide as well, from just $1 all the way up to $1,000, so everyone can find at least a few events that fit their bankrolls.
Tournaments will be scattered throughout the day, starting off at around 3 PM (ET) with the first event of the day and closing down at around 9 PM with the start of the final event of the day.
All things 420
For this year’s High Five series, ACR decided to stick to all things “420,” so the Main Event will feature a very solid guarantee of $420,000. The Main Event is scheduled for the final day of the series, i.e. Sunday, November 4, and it has the buy-in of $450.
Keeping up with the theme, there will also be scheduled 10-minute breaks taking place every day at 4:20 PM, giving players a chance to consume their “special Halloween brownies.” Of course, this isn’t a requirement, but ACR folks just felt like they needed to throw the option out there.
High Five Series: Good mix of events
Looking to meet expectations of different types of players, ACR has created a versatile schedule for this year’s High Five series, offering freezout and rebuy events, knockouts, Pot Limit Omaha tournaments, and more.
Every day, there are a couple of events for smaller bankrolls, as well as a few tournaments with bigger guarantees and higher buy-ins. Apart from the Main Event, here’s the few to keep an eye out for:
- $5.25 HyperMega Stack with $4,000 guarantee on October 31
- $88 PLO event with $15,000 GTD on November 1
- $7.70 4-Max event with $4,000 guaranteed on November 2
- $109 8-Max Warm Up event with $300,000 GTD
Another tournament series to enjoy
It is no secret that US players don’t have many good options to play online poker these days, which makes tournament series such as the High Five even more valuable. With 25 different events and $1.5 million in guarantees, this is a great opportunity for tournament players to experience some fun and action.
Of course, ACR is open to the players from other parts of the world as well so if you feel like getting involved with this funky-themed series or there are some events on the schedule that pique your interest.
