MyBookie Sportsbook Review – Overall

Although only open since 2014, online sportsbook MyBookie has made a favorable impression on American sports bettors, offering a huge number of sports markets, a live dealer casino, mobile-friendly interface, and consistent payouts among its positives.

MyBookie also takes wagers on horse races and current event props. The current event props are probably my favorite feature of MyBookie, as they offer prop bets on nearly everything. I mean everything, from who will be the next elected pope to what country will send humans to Mars first.

MyBookie promotions are better than what most sportsbooks have to offer, as you can claim a 50% welcome bonus, good up to $1,000 which is credited as free play credits. 

Keep in mind, however, that MyBookie has a 10x rollover for the free play and 20x for the free chip.

The minimum deposit at MyBookie is $20 for cryptocurrencies, which is fairly low, and $100 for cash transfers. A $45 minimum deposit limit applies for credit cards.

MyBookie was extremely fast accepting my Bitcoin deposit and applying it to my account. It was about 8 minutes, which is much lower than typical Bitcoin transactions. My guess is MyBookie credits you after only 1 or 2 Bitcoin network confirmations rather than the 6+ other merchants require.

MyBookie Payouts

All of their payout methods have a mandatory two-day processing time, according to the timeframes listed on their payout page. Users who use cryptocurrency to receive their payout receive their payment within 24 hours beyond that most of the time.

There are just two options for withdrawals – Bitcoin or Wire Transfer.

For Bitcoin payouts, I appreciate that MyBookie just texts you a code, you give them your wallet address, and that’s it. No complicated verification documents. It’s a bummer that it takes 2-3 days for MyBookie to send it to your wallet, but that’s about average with the competition.

Wire transfers have a $500 minimum withdrawal and a $75 fee.

Betting Interface at MyBookie

The interface is very appealing and quite easy to use. New bettors can safely place their first couple of bets without getting confused thanks to the handy navigation bar on the left side of the page.

At any time, whether you’re submitting a bet or adding teams to a big parlay, you can find all available betting options in the navigation bar. MyBookie has been good about expanding its horizons with its betting options.

The search bar is a game-changer

One thing that doesn’t catch the user at first glance is the MyBookie search bar. It can be really frustrating when you’re trying to find a certain team and end up searching through 10 different leagues before you find what you’re looking for.

If you would like to place a wager but can’t find the lines for it, search the team or league in the search bar, and the MyBookie lines will come up within seconds. It will definitely come in handy when you wait until the last second to place your bets before game time.

There is no app for betting on mobile. You simply load the website from the Mybookie mobile website and everything is available.

MyBookie Live Betting

MyBookie’s live betting is relatively easy and has plenty of options with reduced juice. All you have to do is click on the bet you want to make, and then it will appear in the “Bet Slip” section on the right-hand side of the page.

Like most online sportsbooks, MyBookie does not offer live betting options on all big games, but it does most of the time.

Another very underrated aspect of MyBookie’s live betting platform is the filter, as the ability to filter out games makes finding the match you are looking for a lot easier. In the “Upcoming” section of the live betting page, click on the pull-down menu to the right of it and select “Next 3 Hours” to get results.

Prop Bets at MyBookie.ag

Props have become one of the most popular wagers in all of gambling, and for good reason. Sports bettors who really like a player rather than a team can bet on player props, which MyBookie offers an abundance of.

MyBookie offers props on nearly everything, and if you can’t find the prop you are looking for, just build it. When you are on the MyBookie homepage, the Props Builder is located towards the bottom. This allows you to literally build your own prop, which is really nice.

Build your own player props

I was glad to see MyBookie still offer the prop bet builder, which has been disappearing from some USA sportsbooks like 5Dimes. Props builder is great because you don’t have to wait for MyBookie to post their own props.

You just select a game, player, and choose the stat you want to bet on. You’ll then see different lines, which you can actually adjust.

Props can be very lucrative for lesser-known players but bettors are usually at the mercy of the sportsbooks on what they choose to post. With props builder, you can create almost any prop with any player you choose.

MyBookie Casino

With a name like MyBookie, I’d imagine that most players are there for sports betting. However, the MyBookie casino is surprisingly full-featured, even more so than many sites focused on online casino games.

The casino runs on Betsoft and Nucleus Gaming software, which has a massive game catalog and focuses on being mobile-friendly. There are dozens of table games like Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Baccarat.

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of slots that work on both desktop and mobile, along with a wide range of video poker games. My only gripe is the “3D Slots” section works on outdated Flash, whereas the normal slot machines section is on HTML5. All of them worked on my iPhone, however.

MyBookie does have an extensive live casino for Blackjack, Roulette, Super 6, and Baccarat. I was impressed at how well live games work on mobile with full video. Blackjack goes down to a low $2.50 minimum bet with the only qualm being that it can be tough to find an open seat.

Horse Racing

For gamblers who prefer to wager on horses, look no further than MyBookie.ag. They even offer an 8% rebate on all horse racing wagers, so you will get back up to one-tenth of your money every single time.

The percent of rebate depends on which racetrack and what type of bet you submit.

MyBookie.ag Contests

This is one of many areas My Bookie has really improved on over the past couple of years. The “MyBookie Supercontest” features a top prize of $125,000 and only costs $100 to enter. You simply bet the spread on each game in the NFL and earn points for getting them right.

“Squares” is a fun way to bet, as everybody has an equal chance to win. These contests feature a $1,500 top prize, and you enter by simply buying squares.

If your square has the correct score, you win. This is another good feature for people newer to gambling or bettors who don’t take gambling as seriously.

MyBookie runs more betting contests than I’ve seen at any other sportsbook. Some are free to enter and others have up to a $100 entry fee. The prize pools vary from $15,000 all the way up to $300,000.

Blowout with Barstool Sports

Most men and women in the sports betting world are familiar with or have heard of Barstool Sports. In a recent public bout, MyBookie replied to one of Dave Portnoy’s tweets on Twitter and Portnoy was not happy about it.

What was a great partnership and advertisement deal turned into a nightmare situation for MyBookie, as Portnoy took to Twitter to complain and talk down on MyBookie, which resulted in Portnoy eventually tweeting out screenshots of DM’s of users who claim that it’s impossible to withdraw their money.

Brandon Walker was actually hired by Portnoy from MyBookie.ag, and he hired him out of spite. Barstool Sports and MyBookie are still on bad terms, but from what I have seen in the past year, MyBookie has made it a priority to make sure customers are now paid out on time.

My Bookie Customer Service

Another area MyBookie has really improved on over the years is their customer service and support. They have a chat bar located towards the bottom of the screen that you can ask anything, and it will give you an answer or offer help in sorting out your issue.

This is one thing I wish more sportsbooks offered. MyBookie seems to be one of a select few online casinos in the online betting industry that actually has a live chat bar available at all times so it’s easy to talk to the customer service team. New bettors and bettors not as tech-savvy can get great use out of this feature.

I actually made my first Bitcoin deposit at MyBookie and forget to select any type of bonus. I just clicked on the live chat, a rep joined right away, and manually added the bonus in for me within a minute or two.

I appreciated MyBookie not being sticklers about me forgetting to click the bonus first and their support people for knowing how to handle it.

Telephone support

I have had to call the MyBookie customer service team a few times before to sort out some issues, and I must say I was more than pleased, to say the least. I got a hold of a member of MyBookie’s customer support team rather quickly, and they did a really good job of guiding me through my issue with ease.

If you use the web form or email to contact MyBookie, you can expect a response within around 12 hours, which is quite nice.
