Lack of Mobile Options

True Poker is unavailable on mobile browsers and there is no app. This is, I believe, the biggest disadvantage of True Poker, as it is simply unimaginable not to offer a mobile version of anything these days.

More and more users prefer playing online poker on the go, which means that, without an app, True Poker cannot reach the huge community of casual mobile poker players.

Quality of Play

Unfortunately, largely as a result of continuing to allow HUDs, True Poker has tougher games than many of their competitors. Flop percentages generally stick below 35% and average pots only reach 10-20 times the big blind, which is paltry compared to an online poker site with anonymous players such as Bovada Poker.

Although veteran players and grinders will appreciate the rakeback at True Poker, that attraction is a double-edged sword. Sit and Go’s fill up quickly

Sit and Go tournaments are the most popular on-demand tournaments on True Poker, meaning they can even become multi-table competitions if there are enough interested players.

Players can also take part in three-handed jackpots and double or nothing sit and go’s in addition to traditional ones.

True Poker has had significant player growth over the last several years, giving their network the current #2 traffic slot for USA poker sites.

Final Verdict on True Poker

True Poker has a long history filled with ups and downs. It seems that ever since it was acquired by the Winning Poker Network, the platform has been on the upward trajectory in every possible aspect.

What I like the most is the huge choice of tournaments with large guaranteed prizes. Being part of the WPN really proved useful for True Poker, helping them attract more players than before.

The bonus and promotions at True Poker are also quite generous and there are quite a few of them, with the best one being the 27% Rakeback program.

I also love the fact that there are so many cryptocurrency banking options. If the crypto industry becomes more popular, True Poker might hope for an even brighter future.
